Scania

Project Details:

Pressurized paint booth for touch-up

Pressurized cabin designed to meet the most stringent safety controls at Scania, which is now considered one of the largest truck manufacturers in the world.

Challenge

Scania in São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo, needed to equip a new paint shop focused on post-paint corrections. To achieve this, the main requirements would include adapting the shop to NR10, NR12, NR33, and NR35 regulations, as well as the current standards of the environmental agency CETESB. Furthermore, the project had to meet the Scania network's international standards regarding cabin safety and operation.

What was done

As a solution, we developed the project using the basic dimensions and configurations of the Truck model, ideal for accommodating large vehicles. Furthermore, it features a blower and heating system that helps ensure a high-quality finish, as well as VOC treatment solutions, with the exhaust ducts equipped with filters suitable for the process. The main cabin door was fitted with acrylic visors for easy internal viewing and also features an automatic roll-closing system equipped with an obstacle sensor. As a safety measure, the cabin features an emergency side door, an electrical panel designed in accordance with NR10 and NR12 standards, and a non-slip grate floor.
