Challenge
Sonaca, a systems integrator in the aeronautical sector, needed to increase the speed of its production process while maintaining quality and implementing a process tracking and control system. The project needed to be installed in a restricted area of the client's premises, with a high level of automation in parts handling, as well as strict monitoring of the parameters required by the sector.
What was done
We held several technical meetings to understand all the standards and guidelines we needed to meet, and thus developed a project fully customized to the necessary requirements. The project consists of three sectors (application, flash-off, and curing) that feature fine-tuned readings of air velocity, temperature, and humidity. These parameters are recorded by a data logger and archived for future reference. The movement of the parts is done via an automated conveyor system that is synchronized, coordinating the movement with the opening and closing of the cabin doors.
