Last August, Orange held the technical handover of the Scania Brasdiesel project in the city of Lajeado, Rio Grande do Sul. Present at the event were Orange's technical teams, Brasdiesel's painting process team, and project management from both companies.
Orange is a recognized brand among Brazilian body shops. However, few realize that it's also chosen by the most demanding and renowned dealerships. Scania is one of these brands, representing the large vehicle painting niche served by Orange.
The Scania Brasdiesel project was particularly challenging because it developed a large truck cab (18x6x6.75m) with the ability to create two distinct painting environments with ventilation, heating, and filtration. This allows for simultaneous painting of parts, cabs, and wheelhouses, even if in different colors.
In addition to the truck cabin, Orange's project for Brasdiesel also included a suction level as a preparation area for parts or vehicles that will later be painted. This suction level was designed with a high potential for downdraft suction (vertical downward airflow), i.e., through the floor. Dust from the sanding process will be sucked up by the suction tube system located below the grates, inside the pit, and will be stored in the suction level module's filters.

During the technical delivery process, the Orange team explains how the equipment works, maintains it, and tests its main features with the client's operations team and project managers.
Brasdiesel is known as Brazil's first Scania dealership, founded in 1957 by Mr. Olinto Luiz Biazus. The Lajeado unit was established in 1982. Orange is proud to be part of this great company's evolution.
