THE Koria, a leader in solutions for the industrial painting market, held on March 26th, at Casa Perlage, in Farroupilha (RS), the Koria Summit, considered the first event in Brazil dedicated exclusively to the industrial painting, furniture, and automotive repair sectors. The initiative brought together more than 400 professionals over 12 hours of programming distributed across two simultaneous stages.
With over 20 speakers, including three international ones, and the participation of 15 exhibiting brands, the event delivered a complete immersion in technology, innovation, management, and industry trends. The goal of integrating technical content, practical experiences, and business generation was confirmed throughout the day, connecting industry, experts, and companies in a high-level environment.

The program ranged from global case studies to practical, everyday applications in the industry, with presentations on automation and robotics, sustainability in paint booths, automotive color development, powder coating technologies, and high-performance processes used by major international brands. Topics such as the use of nitrogen in painting, artificial intelligence applied to commercial management, and import strategies were also among the subjects covered.
Among the key speakers were Kemalcan Süzen from Kromavis, who presented the Mercedes-Benz case study on the use of nitrogen in industrial painting; Gary Jacobsen Jr. from the United States, who spoke about industrial painting for the Swedish brand SAMES; and Ferruccio Basetti from Virtus, who explained polishing techniques and the Ferrari case study, among other prominent names in the sector.
The event concluded with a keynote address by Luis Carlos Marinho da Silva, Global Vice President of Operations at Embraer, brought in partnership with Árete Business School. The executive presented the case study “Operations that fly high – Excellence, Performance and People,” sharing insights on Lean management, productivity, and leadership in highly complex industrial environments.

The meeting concluded with a networking happy hour among participants, consolidating connections and opening new business opportunities. With the first edition completed, the expectation is that the Koria Summit will become a fixture on the industry calendar and expand its reach and relevance in the coming years, keeping pace with the evolution of a market that continues to transform.
